WPTV video: Surveying economic damage from the toxic water

A few weeks ago, the United Way of Martin County sent out a survey on the toxic water impact. “We thought it was an important issue to our community. Not just an environmental issue, but one that affected our health, one that affected our economic vitality,” said Jim Vojcsik, Executive Director of the United Way.

The survey results will be reported to local, state and national elected officials, local Chambers of Commerce, economic development organizations, community leaders and residents. Understanding the need for confidentiality, this information will only be shared in an aggregate form by The United Way.
