WPTV: Tequesta man charged with stealing 107 sea turtle eggs on Jupiter Island

A Tequesta man is accused of taking and possessing loggerhead sea turtle eggs, a third-degree felony, punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine up to $5,000, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Last week, the agency received information from FWC biologists on a possible suspect stealing sea turtle eggs from a beach behind a home on Jupiter Island.
