From WPBF: Martin County commissioners voted unanimously Tuesday to allocate $1.4-million from reserve funds to fight All Aboard Florida.

Commissioners said their goal is to keep the high-speed project out of Martin County.

Lynn Martenstein, VP of Corporate Communications, All Aboard Florida, released the following statement:

“The Indian River and Martin County Commissions have decided upon a negative course of action regarding their engagement with All Aboard Florida. The company is hopeful that a more positive and productive forum can be found. We remain open to exploring a future station in the Treasure Coast that would bring direct economic benefits to area residents and visitors.”
