A man has been arrested in connection to a brush fire that quickly grew to 101 acres in western Martin County on Monday, according to state officials.

J. Jesus Angeles-Diego was charged Monday with misdemeanor reckless burning of land after he was accused of starting a trash fire that escaped, according to an arrest report.
