TCPalm: Gas leak forces hundreds of southern Martin County residents to evacuate

Roughly 600 Martin County residents were evacuated from their homes after a gas leak at a facility in northern Palm Beach County, said Martin County Sheriff’s Office officials.

The gas leak prompted evacuations in northern Palm Beach County and parts of Martin County.

Martin County deputies evacuated residents along Suddard Drive, Arnold Drive, Mayo Drive, SE Southgate Drive, SE Fernwood Drive, Hillcrest Drive South, SE Homewood Avenue, SE Fernley Drive, SE Barus Drive, SE Robert Drive, SE Bryant Drive, SE Williams Terrace, and SE Doherty (along Federal Highway).
