Suspect in occupied home burglary may be responsible for multiple burglaries in our area

(Source: MCSO) Moises Sanchez broke into a home in the White Marsh community just before 10am Saturday.

The suspect who broke into an occupied home Saturday morning has been identified as 35-year old Moises Sanchez.

Sanchez, who said he is homeless, is already on parole out of Georgia for similar crimes.

Sanchez broke into a home in the White Marsh community just before 10am.

That’s when the victim walked down the stairs and found him inside her house.

He fled on foot.

Following a Code Red Alert, residents began to call in and send external home surveillance videos, showing Sanchez at their doors.

The video gave deputies a clear description of Sanchez.

Following an intense manhunt, MCSO AIR 1, Uniformed Road Patrol Deputies, K9, and Criminal Investigations Detectives located Sanchez hiding in the bushes near a pond.

Moises Sanchez has been charged with armed occupied burglary, and resisting arrest without violence.

He is a suspect in multiple burglaries in our area and faces additional charges.

He also has an open warrant out of Georgia for burglary.

Moises Sanchez is being held without bond tonight in the Martin County Jail.
