Stuart dermatologist dies in windsurfing crash

From CBS: A windsurfer and a boat collided in Martin County on Friday afternoon. 68-year-old Dr. Thomas Connelly was severely injured on Friday and later died from his injuries. The collision happened about half a mile north of the Stuart causeway.

Dr. Connelly was a pillar in the Stuart community. According to his office’s website, he had treated over 80,000 cases of skin cancer. Dr. Connelly had been practicing skin cancer surgery in the Stuart area since 1985.
