PBPost: Online journal gives glimpse into Hobe Sound’s Tricia Todd, ex who killed her

A cross with Tricia Todd’s name can be seen Monday May 30, 2016 at Hungryland Wildlife and Environmental Area in Martin County. It appears Steven Williams (Todd’s ex-husband), on April 27 cut Todd’s body into pieces in the wooded area, 15 miles southwest of her Hobe Sound home, Martin County Sheriff William Snyder said. Todd’s partial remains were found inside a plastic container filled with a liquid that investigators believe is acid. (The Palm Beach Post)

For years, Tricia Todd posted in her online journal about life, faith and her tumultuous relationship with her ex-husband, Steven Williams.

“It takes a truly evil person to kill such a sweet kitten. That’s when I finally saw him for what he was and left him,” she wrote in August 2009. “I have forgiven my soon to be ex-husband for many things, but have been holding out on these things.”

The online journal gives a glimpse into the rocky relationship between the Air Force veteran and Williams, who is charged in her brutal death.

Martin County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Yesenia Carde said when their investigation began into her disappearance in April, the journal also helped officials confirm what friends and family had thought all along: Williams had something to do with it.
