From Sally Swartz, award-winning Palm Beach Post blogger: The Apollo School Foundation in Hobe Sound, kicking off a new speaker series, wanted Jupiter Island’s Nathaniel Reed, 81, well-known as a storyteller, to share his childhood memories of Hobe Sound and Jupiter Island.

His resume is impressive.

He worked for six Florida governors and two presidents, helped found 1000 Friends of Florida, and is active in the Everglades Foundation and the Natural Resources Defense Council.
