Swartz continues her blog: Many residents remember when a pro-growth commission chairwoman called environmentalists who spoke to the commission “members of Team Ugly.” In 2002, a pro-growth majority threatened to publish the e-mail addresses of residents who questioned their decisions. A Jensen Beach developer filed a Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation (SLAPP) suit against residents who spoke against his project at public meetings or wrote letters to the editor.
