Palm City Meth lab operator charged in explosion of Sunset Trace townhouse

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office reports that 32-year-old Jessie Jones of Stuart was booked into the Martin County Jail charged with Arson of a Structure, Manufacturing a Controlled Substance, and Possession of a Controlled Substance, in connection to the explosion of a Palm City townhome last month. Detectives say Jones was operating a Meth lab out of the townhouse he rented on SW Sunset Trace Circle in Palm City.  Jones was injured in the blast and was recently released from the hospital.  He was booked into jail, then released after posting a $35,000 bond.
