Raising tens of thousands of dollars for Give Kids The World, a three-day event held July 26-28 in Celebration, Teri and Ian Pollack joined more than 140 of the hottest stars from the hit television shows “Survivor,” “The Amazing Race,” “The Bachelor,” “Celebrity  Apprentice,” ”Big Brother” and more. They reunited with their cast mates and used their celebrity to help raise donations for the nonprofit “storybook” resort that provides weeklong, cost-free, magical vacations to children and their families from around the world. During their appearances on The Amazing Race, Ian and Teri raced around the world completing all kinds of challenges.  To date they are the oldest team to ever finish the race coming in second by less than two minutes.

Ian and Teri are longtime Martin County residents, and are an active couple in the community. They participate in various local and national breast cancer charities, and  have worked with Kosair Children Hospitals. They also support the local Council on Aging, and volunteer with The Hobe Sound Animal Protection League.

Civic activist Ian was a Martin County Commission candidate in 2004 and 2008, and is currently supporting commission candidates Dr. Tom Fullman, Anne Scott, and John Haddox in the upcoming August 14 Republican Primary Election.  “Exercise your right to vote,” he adds. “Let’s save Martin County from the sad fate that befell Broward and the rest of South Florida.”
