Award-winning Palm Beach Post writer Sally Swartz blogs on the upcoming November 6 election: With the election only a month away, candidates awaiting voters’ final decisions in the Martin County Commission and School Board races are bracing for the last lap. So far, the contenders seem to be walking, not running.

Republican Anne Scott, who defeated incumbent Patrick Hayes in the Republican primary, still faces a challenge from no-party candidate Craig Woll, and Marsha Powers and former board member Tony George are in a runoff for a School Board seat.
