Orlando City Council: Reject bill that could slow Brightline train

From The Orlando Sentinel: Orlando’s City Council urged state legislators to reject a bill that critics say could slow, or even halt, plans for a passenger-rail service linking Orlando and Miami.

All Aboard Florida, which plans to link Orlando and Miami with its Brightline service, has warned that the additional regulations could derail its plans and result in years of legal challenges. The service already faces lawsuits from Martin and Indian River counties.
