Northpoint Ventures plans 120-room Starwood Aloft hotel for Stuart

A four-story boutique hotel could soon call Stuart city-owned property home, according to Hotel Online.

Development Company Northpoint Ventures LLC tentatively has agreed to lease the “Stuart triangle,” a 2.1-acre parcel on the north side of the Roosevelt Bridge.

City staff will request permission to enter into final lease negotiations with Northpoint, according to the meeting agenda.

Northpoint’s project plans show a 120-room, 48,000 square-foot Starwood Aloft hotel and a waterfront restaurant with over 150 indoor and outdoor seats and a seafood-based menu.

Aloft is a boutique offshoot of the the luxury W Hotels chain.
