New Treasure Coast foundation to provide support programs for cancer patients and families

From The How Big Is Your Brave Foundation, a new not-for-profit organization on the Treasure Coast, committed to providing a variety of supportive programs to meet the needs of cancer patients and their families in our community.

Supportive services and programs aimed at cancer patients, their families, and survivors of cancer in our area are limited and fragmented.

Often those diagnosed with cancer do not know where to turn or find resources.

Currently offered programs in our community may be out of reach for those with limited financial resources.

Many survivors feel they had lots of support during their treatment, but once it ended, it was hard to make a transition to a new way of life and adjusting to a “new normal”.

Cancer affects the lives of most people, whether you are a cancer patient, family member, friend, or someone you know has cancer.

We believe all those touched by cancer should have access to programs and support and no one should be turned away due to inability to pay.

Our programs and workshops will focus on providing support to meet the challenges of living and coping with cancer head on; regardless of where you receive care.

Cancer affects not only our bodies, but our minds and souls.

We believe achieving and maintaining a balance of the mind, body, and soul is necessary for healing and living life to the fullest.

We are committed to strengthen your body, nurture hope and courage, and enrich your spirit.

We want people to find joy in their life, feel good about themselves, create friendship, and never feel alone.

Providing the right support for cancer patients and their families starts with treating them like part of our own family.

That is the commitment of the HOW big IS YOUR BRAVE Foundation.
