Hurchalla continues: Bill Fruth sees only gloom and doom in Martin County’s future. He says local workers must fight back against our comprehensive plan and the mob-rule mentality that prevents economic progress.

Fruth is being paid $20,000 by the Stuart/Martin County Chamber of Commerce to claim that strict growth management laws cause the decline of a local economy. His report is being released as campaign ammunition for the Aug. 14 primary elections, when pro-growthers and slow-growthers will square off on the future of Martin County.
