From The Martin County Sheriff’s Office: Our detectives are working around the clock on the tragic events that occurred Monday evening on SE Kokomo Lane.

The Good Samaritan, Jeffrey Fisher, was released from the hospital yesterday and is home recovering with his family.

The memorial service for the victims, John Stevens and Michelle Mishcon, was held today at Parker Playhouse in Ft. Lauderdale.

As for Austin Harrouff, he is still in the hospital in stable, but critical condition.

Once he is medically released from the hospital, he will immediately be arrested and charged with First Degree Murder in the death of Michelle Mishcon; First Degree Murder in the death of John Stevens; Attempted First Degree Murder in the attempted killing of Jeffrey Fisher; Burglary of a Dwelling while armed, and Resisting Officer without Violence.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office has requested the assistance of the FBI Lab in Quantico to head up the testing of his blood for toxicology.

This next round of tests will look for the chemicals that are found in Flakka, as we have not been able to confirm if any drugs were in his system at the time of the attacks.
