From the Martin County Sheriff’s Office: Following extensive search efforts with more than 60-people yesterday, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office has suspended the ground search for 30-year old Tricia Todd. Investigative efforts will continue, however, unless new information comes to light, ground assets will be scaled back.

Teams conducted a grid search and re-checked many areas in Hobe Sound concentrating efforts from Bridge Road south to JD State Park. Personnel from the Martin County Sheriffs Office, thirty five crime scene students from Keiser Crime Scene Investigations Academy, and crime scene investigators from Ft. Pierce worked to cover a large area in hopes of finding clues in Tricia’s disappearance. ATV’s, MCSO Air1, and four wheel drive vehicles were used in the search.

Although ground efforts have been suspended, we remain dedicated to finding Tricia and will continue all investigative efforts.
