MCSO marine deputies clean up waterways of unsightly and dangerous derelict boats

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office reports that marine deputies, in conjunction with Martin County Code Enforcement, have removed about thirty derelict vessels from Martin County waters.

These abandoned boats are not only an eyesore, but in many cases, you can only see a small portion of the vessel sticking out of the water, posing a danger to boaters, jet skiers, and swimmers.
