MCSO Deputies assist in apprehension of fraud suspect eluding law enforcement on Bridge Road

After attempting felony bank fraud at a drive thru bank in Palm Beach County, Palm Beach Gardens Police Officers pursued this vehicle, driven by the suspect, Karalyn Nicole Collins (DOB 3/25/89), northbound on I95.

 

Because of heavy traffic, the pursuit was ended by Palm Beach Gardens Police Department at the county line.

 

Minutes later, a concerned citizen called to report a suspicious vehicle driving recklessly on SE Bridge Road, around Becker Tree Farm.

 

Martin County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived and found the vehicle matching the description given by PBGPD, abandoned on Becker property.

 

Deputies then found the suspect driver walking on Bridge Road.

 

Palm Beach Gardens Police Officers responded and positively identified the suspect and vehicle.

 

Collins was arrested for felony fraudulent use of bank card, driving with a revoked driver license, criminal use of personal identification, four counts of felony fleeing/eluding law enforcement officers and violation of probation for child neglect by officers with PBGPD.

 

She will be booked into the Martin County Jail and then returned to Palm Beach County.
