Martin County Sheriffs shut down sixth meth lab in 18 months

Martin County Sheriff’s Special Investigations Detectives, in conjunction with the DEA Clandestine Lab Enforcement Team and the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, have shut down another meth lab operating out of a small apartment in the town of Rio.
Detectives served a search warrant at 1113 NE Orange Avenue, Apartment #2, finding all of the components of an active one pot meth operation.
Detectives arrested 43-year old Montgomery Blum charging him with manufacturing methamphetamine.
Blum was taken to the Martin County jail, his bond will be $100,000.This is the sixth meth operation Martin County Special Investigations and DEA Detectives have shut down in 18 months.
