Detectives are investigating three residential burglaries that occurred to homes in the Loblolly Community in Hobe Sound. The crimes occurred sometime Saturday evening to unoccupied homes along Golfhouse Drive. Thieves smashed windows to make entry. Cash and personal items were taken from at least one of the homes. Nothing was removed from the second home. Despite smashing the window, burglars did not enter into the third home. It was possible something alarmed the thieves, so they took off before getting inside. Detectives are examining exterior home security camera footage, which captured infrared images of the suspects.
