From CBS: On the streets of Martin County, an innovative new law enforcement team is putting a stop to violence crime before it can even start.

Sheriff William Snyder has announced the creation of the Martin County Sheriff’s  Office Crime Suppression Team, a six member unit—comprised of deputies and officers from Stuart Police—that’s designed to target small crimes before they turn into bigger ones.

Their mission is to proactively target crime in areas prone to increased service calls.
