From The Palm Beach Post: As he prepared to head back to his Jupiter Island home, Woods, 38, who turned pro in 1996, was asked if he’s starting to feel old.

“I felt old a long time ago,” he said with a smile. “It’s darn near 20 years out here.”

After playing — or trying to play — two straight weeks, Woods indicated the time has come to stop playing tournaments and start concentrating on getting his body right.

“You can’t burn the candle at both ends,” he said. “I need to get stronger physically and be back to where I was. I need to get my glutes strong again, my abs and my core back to where I used to have them. They’re just not quite there yet.”
