Interested in Martin’s future? Attend tonight’s public forum with Maggy Hurchalla

Local attorney and civic activist Virginia Sherlock reminds Martin residents of the community meeting at 6:30 p.m. this evening, September 5, at the Morgade Library, featuring Maggy Hurchalla in a forum to encourage citizen input on goals shared by Martin County residents to be implemented by a new County Commission majority.

Sherlock adds: Please attend and let Maggy know what goals are important to you and whether you support overall goals in our Comprehensive Plan that include:

— To broaden, enhance and protect the quality of life for Martin County residents — To restore our natural environment that is valued and protected — To encourage a strong local economy — To have a fiscally conservative government that protects existing and future taxpayers.

The community meeting is sponsored by the Martin County Conservation Alliance.  It is open to all.  If you can’t attend, please e-mail your suggestions to  maggycplan@gmail.com.
