...through the years there have been a few movies that were at least partly filmed in and around Martin County, such as “Empire of the Ants,” “Gentle Ben,” “Little Laura Big John,” a somewhat fictionalized crime drama about the Ashley Gang, and scenes from a James Bond movie “Live and Let Die”. The first movie made in Stuart, “Robinson Crusoe,” is in the public domain and can be viewed on the Internet.
