Former Loblolly resident, Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel wins new trial in 1975 killing

From Greenwich Time: The nephew of Ethel Skakel Kennedy and the late Robert F. Kennedy, Michael Skakel, 53, serving 20 years to life in prison for the murder of Greenwich (CT) teenager Martha Moxley, brutally beaten to death outside her Belle Haven home nearly 40 years ago, received a new trial Wednesday after spending more than 10 years in prison.

…Skakel recounted that on the 18th hole of Loblolly golf club in Hobe Sound, his former attorney Michael “Mickey” Sherman assured him that he had the case in the bag.
