Eula Clarke named Elected Official of the Year at Florida CTD’s annual conference

Martin County’s Eula Clarke was named “Elected Official of the Year” at the 22nd annual conference for the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged in Orlando.

She has served as the Chair of Martin County’s Local Coordinating Board for the Transportation Disadvantaged for more than three years.

Commissioner Clarke has also served on the Stuart City Commission since 2011 and was Mayor in 2013.

She is running for reelection to the Commission in a non-partisan race.

That election takes place on August 26.

Commissioner Clarke earned a BA and MSP (Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning) from Florida State University and also a Juris Doctor in Law (JD) from the University of Florida.

She will speak at the Martin County Democratic Women’s Club this Saturday. The meeting will be held at the Clarion Inn at 1200 SE Federal Highway in Stuart and will start at 10:00 AM with a social period followed by the program starting at 10:30 AM. Eula will speak about her work in the community.

If time permits there will also be a discussion about the ballot for the upcoming primary.
