Dangerous drilling endangers communities, waters: Treasure Coast Ban Fracking meeting 8.17

Treasure Coast Democratic Environmental Caucus is sponsoring a Treasure Coast Ban Fracking meeting at 621 SE Palm Beach Road in Stuart.

From The Treasure Coast Democratic Environmental Caucus: It’s time to take the fight to ban fracking to the next level.

Our Florida legislators have stalled on passing a ban for too long.

We need to show our elected officials that our residents support banning this dangerous drilling practice statewide.

Our anti-fracking movement has come a long way but it’s going to take continued, collective action from folks like you all over the state for the next several months to pass the statewide ban.

Join Floridians Against Fracking and Food & Water Watch, at the Audubon Clifton Long Nature Preserve, 621 SE Palm Beach Road in Stuart, on Thursday, August 17th, from 6:30pm-8pm to plug into the regional effort to ban fracking in Florida.

We’ll discuss more about the campaign and how you can help. With enough people involved, we can ensure Florida’s waters stay clean and our communities protected from the dangers of fracking.
