Courier-Mail: Caddie talks Tiger, Adam Scott, Greg Norman and The Beast

New Zealander Steve Williams is the most successful golf caddie of all time and was the man on the bag for [Jupiter Island’s] Tiger Woods in 13 of his 14 majors.

But Williams writes in his recently published  “Out of the Rough” that the greatest shot he ever saw was [Jupiter Islander] Greg Norman with a driver off the deck on a par five at the Australian Open.

“Royal Melbourne on the 14th hole. He had driven onto a downhill lie and the wind was howling left to right. We had to get the ball up quickly. I wanted him to lay up. A driver? It did not even enter my mind. It could have gone anywhere. I can still see it … the single greatest shot I have ever seen…
