CBS12: Second-grader jailed for punching Jensen Beach teacher, threatening to kill her, police say

Police arrested a second-grade boy who repeatedly punched a teacher and then threatened to kill her, according Martin County Sheriff’s Office. The problem started when the 7-year-old, whose name is being withheld by CBS12 because he is a juvenile, was hit with another student’s lunchbox, and he then jumped in line in front of that younger, smaller student.

The boy started to bolt off campus but was redirected, according to an MCSO report. When he was walking back, witnesses heard him say “I’m going to kill that dumb — teacher.” At that point he was directed ot the principal’s office and police were called.
