CBS: Lake O’ discharges to continue at max levels, possibly through June

More bad news for boaters and fishermen.

The US Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) announced Thursday, the dumping of dirty flood water will continue to pour into the Treasure Coast for months to come, as a swollen Lake Okeechobee is again on the rise.

The water is so dirty, commissioners declared a state of emergency for the environment and the marine-based economy.
