CBS: Fish kill prompts concern from locals about Lake O discharges

Water quality along the Treasure Coast continues to be a hot button issue and now fish kills are prompting concern from locals.

Now, a massive fish kill farther north has some residents worried that it could happen nearby.

Mark Perry, Executive Director with the Florida Oceanographic Society in Stuart, says the fish kill is due to run off in that area and isn’t caused by Lake Okeechobee discharges.
