Can you identify this driver? Teenage bicyclist injured in hit and run, caught on video

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office needs your help identifying the driver of a car that hit a 15-year old girl riding her bike.

Can you help identify this driver?

The hit and run happened around 12:10 Tuesday afternoon on Kanner Highway in front of Fisherman’s Cove.

The entire incident was caught on video by another motorist’s dash cam.

You can see the silver sedan pull out of the Fisherman’s Cove community at the same time the girl is crossing the street.

The car strikes the girl’s bicycle, and continues on.

The driver then pulls into the local fire station, at which point he runs over to the injured child, stands there, then runs back his car.

He then got back into his vehicle and drove away.

The motorist with the dash-cam stopped to help as the child crawled to the side of the road.

The child was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. If you have any information on this person, please call the Martin County Sheriff’s Office at 220-7170.

Watch the entire video to see if you can identify this driver.
