BOCC to conduct public hearings on 1st Set Comprehensive Plan Amendments

 

 

On July 21, the Board of County Commissioners, beginning at 9:00 A.M., will conduct public hearings to consider adoption of the following 1st Set Comprehensive Plan Amendments.  The hearings will be held in the Martin County  Administrative Center, Commission Chambers, 2401 SE Monterey Road, Stuart.

 

1.  Application CPA 15-1, Kingsley:  A Future Land Use Map (FLUM) change from Rural Density to Low Density on a 5-acre parcel located on the west side of Berry Avenue in Palm City. And a concurrent request to change the zoning on the property from A-1 (Small Farms) to RS-4 (Single Family Residential).

 

2. Application CPA 15-2, Berry Retail: A Future Land Use Map (FLUM) change from Rural Density to Commercial Limited on a 4.8-acre parcel located on the south side of SW Martin Highway approximately 400 feet west of Berry Avenue in Palm City.  And a concurrent request to change the zoning on the property from A-1 (Small Farms) to COR-2 (Commercial Office Residential).

 

3.  Application CPA 15-4, Davis Hobe Sound: A Future Land Use Map (FLUM) change from Medium Density Residential to Commercial General on a 1.27-acre parcel located on the east side of Federal Hwy., between SE Porter Blvd. and SE Church Street, in Hobe Sound. And a concurrent request to change the zoning on the property from R-3A (Liberal Multi-Family) to CC (Community Commercial).

 

4.  Application CPA 15-6, Berry Retail-Galley: A Future Land Use Map (FLUM) change from Rural Density to Commercial Limited on a 1.14-acre parcel located on the SW corner of SW Martin Highway and Berry Avenue in Palm City. And a concurrent request to change the zoning on the property from A-1 (Small Farms) to COR-2 (Commercial Office Residential).

 

5.  Application CPA 15-8, Jensen Beach Impoundment: A Future Land Use Map (FLUM) change from Estate Density to Conservation on a 91.5-acre parcel located on Hutchinson Island,west of NE Ocean Boulevard at the north county border.  And a concurrent request to change the zoning on the property from HR-1A (Single-Family Residential) and HR-2A (Multi-Family Dwelling) to PC (Public Conservation).

 

6.  Application CPA 15-9, Joe’s River Park: A Future Land Use Map (FLUM) change from Medium Density to Conservation on a 2.25-acre parcel located on north Hutchinson Island, on the west side of NE Ocean Boulevard, just south of the Sailfish (Rigel’s) Cove development.  And concurrent requests to change the zoning on 12.3 acres from HR-1A (Single-Family Residential) and PS-2 (Public Service) to PR (Public Recreation) and PC (Public Conservation).

 

7.  Application CPA 15-10, Bob Graham Beach: A Future Land Use Map (FLUM) change from Estate Density and Medium Density to Conservation on 5.3-acres located along the Atlantic Ocean on north Hutchinson Island, south of Joe’s River Park and north of Joe’s Point. And a concurrent request to change the zoning on the property from HR-2A (Multi-Family Dwelling) to PC (Public Conservation).

 

8.  Application CPA 15-11, FL Oceanographic Society: A Future Land Use Map (FLUM) change from Estate Density and Commercial General to Conservation on a 17.3-acre parcel located on north Hutchinson Island between the Indian River and the Hutchinson Island Publix Supermarket. And a concurrent request to change the zoning on the property from HB-1 (Limited Business) to PC (Public Conservation).

 

9.  Application CPA 15-12, IRP Water Treatment Plant: A Future Land Use Map (FLUM) change from Commercial General to Institutional General on a 7.5-acre parcel located across from the Marriott at Indian River Plantation on Hutchinson Island.

 

10.  Application CPA 15-13, River Cove: A Future Land Use Map (FLUM) change from Commercial Waterfront to Recreational on a 5.2-acre parcel located at the north-east landing of the Ernest F. Lyons Bridge, across from Indian River Plantation on Hutchinson Island. And a concurrent request to change the zoning on the property from WRC (Waterfront Resort Commercial) to PR (Public Recreation).

 

11.  Application CPA 15-14, Crystal Beach: A Future Land Use Map (FLUM) change from Low Density to Conservation on a 16.2-acre parcel located on Macarthur Boulevard, on Hutchinson Island, south of Santa Lucea Beach and north of the House of Refuge. And a concurrent request to change the zoning on the property from HR-1A (Single-Family Residential) to PC (Public Conservation).

 

12.  Application CPA 15-16, EOC: A Future Land Use Map (FLUM) change from Institutional General to Commercial Limited on a 5 acre parcel located at 6000 S.E. Tower Drive.  And a concurrent request to change the zoning on the property from PS (Public Service) to LC (Limited Commercial).
