Several participants estimate that between 5,000 to 10,000 protestors attended and formed a 3.5 mile human chain from Stuart to Jensen Beach today.

MCSO estimates at least 2,000 to 2,500 people took part in the effort.  Sheriff William Snyder, along with MCSO deputies, was among the crowd and said demonstrators were passionate, yet peaceful, and organized.
