From WPBF: Over $1 million worth of gold artifacts and a rare coin destined for the king of Spain have been recovered from the 1715 Treasure Fleet which sank along the Treasure Coast on July 31, 1715.

The artifacts were discovered in shallow waters about 15 feet deep off Fort Pierce, approximately 30 miles north of West Palm Beach, the release said.
